At Hardrock 48 on June 23, 2012, the 145 Title was taken by Joe Schiff (4-0) def Chris Dunn (Champion)(10-5) via unanimous decision (Judge 1 49-46, Judge 2 49-46, Judge 3 49-46). Joe has spent most of the summer training at Reaction MMA where he has been a hard-working training partner. As a very tough young man with a strong desire to learn and improve and an admirable work ethic, great things can be expected from this young fighter. Congratulations to Joe!
This past weekend Reaction MMA fighter Mark Morris faced Keyahnu “Sky” Sparks (4 seasons) in Hardrock MMA 47 in Lawrencburg, KY. The match-up was in the amatuer 135 pound division and was Mark’s 2nd fight of his ammy career. Mark was able to demonstrate several key strengths including Jiu-Jitsu, striking, and GnP, as you can see in this video. Congratulations to Mark on finishing his second opponent. The match-up is in the amatuer 135 pound division versus Keyahnu “Sky” Sparks(4 Seasons)(0-0). Mark has been working his behind off and is more than ready for his 2nd MMA fight. Mark will bring a unique combination of skills to this match which should make for an extremely exciting fight!

Kimbrell has been training hard and is now better, stronger and faster than he has ever been. His technique has improved and evolved under the watchful direction of Coach Rob Nickerson and Kimbrell is looking forward to showing what he has learned. On Feb 4th, at Hardrock43 in Shepardsville, KY, Reaction MMA Amatuer fighter Mark Morris won his debut MMA fight via arm-bar in the first round. Jack Podgorski, improved his amatuer MMA record to (6-2) at Hardrock MMA 43 in Shepardsville, KY on Feb 4th, 2012. Jack won convincingly using his combined striking and grappling skills. Mark Morris Wins Debut Fight at Hardrock MMA 43 Via Arm-Bar
Congratulations to Mark on winning his debut fight via Arm-bar (Juji Gatame). As you can see in the video, he begins the fight with effective striking which eventually causes his opponent to drop to the canvas. He then finished the fight on the ground.
